I am an avid reader and do read daily. While romance is not my favorite genre, I throughly enjoyed your book. The mystery and history surrounding each of the characters kept me very engaged and anxious to discover how each would meet the challenges they faced.  

 I like the way you went from third peron to first in order to dig deeper into each character's unique personalities, fears, and needs.  Your characters were very real, and I loved the fact that the main characters were not young. Romance, sexual sensual attraction and passion do not become obsolete as we age.

It was refreshing to read a novel about people who could live "next door".  The characters were very real and I got wrapped up in their lives, completely. I read the book from beginning to end in less than one day! I was also entertained by the fact that the main characters were not 30-something-years-old, but older.  Something I can relate to! It was a wonderful book, and, and I hope you will continue to write and publish more. It was definitely a job well done.

I love to read, but with children, work and everyday adventures of life, my free time is very limited. I found this book very enjoyable and well worth my time.

The characters in this story come across as real—just like those who live down the street. It is easy to become involved in their challenges as they work through the struggles of aging and lost love.

Mrs. Cotton does a wonderful job weaving the different characters in and out of her story. You find yourself climbing inside each character and feeling their individual hurts and longings.
