Mary Wiggins Cotton, a retired educator and author, was reared on a farm in Northeast Louisiana. She shares a country home with her husband Bob, in Oxford, Mississippi, where she is lovingly known as Mamaw Mary to their nine children, twenty-nine grandchildren, and an ever-increasing number of great-grandchildren.
